Graham Cooke

Cooke, Graham 2017 120Graham Cooke is a clinical academic based in Infectious Diseases at Imperial College London, prior to which he was based at Africa Health Research Institute in Mtubatuba, South Africa. His clinical interests are in HIV and co-infection with viral hepatitis and tuberculosis.

His current research is focused on access to treatment for hepatitis C, point of care diagnostics and the elimination of viral hepatitis. Projects include

  • STOPHCV (UK MRC funded Stratified Medicine Consortium for hepatitis C)
  • The strategic post-licensing trial, STOP-HCV1
  • SouthEast Asia Research Collaborative in Hepatitis (SEARCH)
  • NIHR Point-of-care Diagnostics Evaluation Co-operative

He is currently leading a commission on the elimination of viral hepatitis for Lancet Gastroenterology and Hepatology
