The INTEREST Workshop has two committees consisting of key persons in the field of HIV/AIDS: the Organizing Committee and the Scientific Program Committee. The committees are active in the organization of the workshop, together with the organizing secretariat.

The Organizing Committee (OC) is responsible for the content of the workshops (topics, speakers, review of submitted abstracts), and gives advice on various subjects concerning the Workshop (location, sponsor possibilities, PR).

The members of Scientific Committee assist the OC by providing them with suggestions for speakers and topics. In addition, members of the Scientific Committee actively participate in reviewing submitted abstracts.
