Dwight DuBois, MD, is the President and Laboratory Director of Cenetron Diagnostics and Cenetron Central Laboratories, based in Austin, Texas, USA.   Dr. DuBois received his MD degree from the University of Texas (San Antonio), and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Case-Western Reserve University, followed by a NIH-sponsored fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of Washington.

Dr. DuBois founded Cenetron Diagnostics in 1996, as a reference laboratory specializing in the development and provision of molecular diagnostic testing.   Since 2004 Cenetron has specialized exclusively as a provider of molecular virology testing and of bioinformatics to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

Dr. DuBois is the principle inventor of Armored RNA®, a key technology in quantitative assays for the measurement of HIV, HCV, and other RNA targets.   Armored RNA® has been widely licensed and has emerged as an industry-wide standardization technology.    Current research at Cenetron is focused on development of custom molecular assays, traditional and next generation sequencing of viral nucleic acids, and related bioinformatics.
