E. Devitt: Hepatitis B


Emma Devitt, MD, graduated from Trinity College, Dublin in 2000. She completed higher training in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases in Ireland. During this program she undertook a 2 year period of dedicated research for a higher degree.


This work examined the early responses to Hepatitis C therapy- looking at viral kinetics, genomic and proteomic markers of response. Since 2009 she has been working at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London focusing on HIV and hepatitis co-infection.
