Program

Alain Volny Anne currently works for the French AIDS NGO called Actions Traitements, as Editor in Chief for the newsletter InfoTraitements and as a trainer. In parallel, he is a member of the Board of Directors of the European AIDS Treatment Group (EATG).
His dedication to the fight against HIV/AIDS has translated into several achievements in the past years, the major ones being: the implementation of a treatment counseling programme in a French AIDS service organization for HIV positive kids and their parents; his key role in the leadership team of the 2nd IAS Conference on HIV Pathogenesis and Treatment; his role in the Scientific Committee, and now on the Core Organizing Committee, of the HIV Drug Therapy Congress (Glasgow); his trainings in a French Health Ministry driven Peer Counselling Program; his trainings on HIV treatment literacy and advocacy in several Haitian AIDS Organizations, within a capacity building programme run by Concern, an Irish NGO.
On a freelance basis, Alain also serves as translator, expert and trainer for several international entities including the World Health Organization, the Global Campaign for Microbicides and GNP+ and French Health organizations.
Alain has a degree in English literature from the Université Paris VI.
