Joseph Margolick: Clinical Epidemiology of Frailty


Joseph Margolick, MD, PhD, is Professor of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology, Enviromental Health Sciences and Epidemiology at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Baltimore. In addition, he is Professor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore.

As Principal Investigator, he is involved in the study to identify mechanisms of HIV-1 disease progression in participants of the Multicenter AIDS Cohort Center (MACS). Study focus is on virological, immunological and genetic factors as they effect interactions between HIV-1 and the host immune biology, and also on determinants of the response to potent antiretroviral regimens
