Fees and Conditions
Registration fee excluding accommodation (accommodation fees are listed on the appropriate page).

No day rate is available
NB: Payment  is only possible with VISA, Master card or AMEX card

This registration fee includes:
o        Entrance into all scientific sessions, including poster area
o        Delegate bag, including abstract book and final program
o        Refreshment breaks
o        Lunch during the conference program
o        Dinner on June 20 (provided  pre-registration and payment of the 
          nominal contribution of 35 Euros has been received)


Important
o         We would like to strongly suggest that you register early to ensure
           your confirmation, as registration will close when the capacity of the
           venue is reached. Priority will be given to persons submitting an
           abstract.
o         Please remember that registrations and hotel reservations are valid
           and will be confirmed only after full payment of the registration fee
           has been received.
o         Registration will be limited to researchers clinicians and others actively
           participating as investigators in the field of HIV and Hepatitis
           Co-infection, with preference accorded to doctoral and professional
           degree level researchers and clinicians.
o         For residents of the Netherlands 19% VAT is applicable to registration
           rate.
o         Your registration will be cancelled without further notice if payment or
           credit card data have not been received within 2 weeks after
           submission of registration data. If after all you wish to attend the
           meeting a new registration is required at the conditions and rates of
           the moment.

Individual registrations
Registration fee can be paid by way of credit card either through an online-secured internet connection or through authorization by fax. After registration you will receive a confirmation of receipt of registration. Registrations are valid only after receipt of payment.  Please note: Submission of your registration form is no guarantee that your registration has been accepted.

Group registrations
In order to register groups, please use the group registration form at the bottom of this page or contact the Conference Secretariat by email: info@virology-education.com or phone: +31 30 230 7143 and we will help you through the process. Groups can not be registered on-line.
Group registrations can be paid either by credit card or by bank transfer
Payment by bank transfer should be made free of charge.

Cancellation
Should you be unable to attend the conference, a substitute delegate is always welcome at no extra charge provided that a letter of authorisation from the original participant has been received and the Conference Secretariat has been notified of the name of the substitute delegate before May 1st.
A confirmation (email/letter/fax) of your cancellation needs to be sent to Virology Education. Only cancellations in writing will be taken into consideration.
The following refunds are applicable:
Cancellation before/on April 1st, 2008: 50% refund of registration fee
Hotel nights minus 1
Cancellation fee 75 EURO
Cancellation after April 1st, 2008: no refund

Media registration
In order to register as a media participant for the Workshop, the conference secretariat needs to receive proof of accreditation. There is no registration fee for accredited media participants. Media participants are entitled to admission to all sessions of the Workshop as well as the Welcome reception and dinner (provided a reservation has been made). An abstract book will be provided on site. Deadline for application is May 1st.

Accreditation may take the form of a photocopy of official press credentials or a letter verifying assignment to the Workshop on the stationery of the media organization concerned. Freelance journalists should submit copies of three (3) by-lined articles on HIV/AIDS/Co infection in addition to an official letter of assignment. Newsletter writers and editors must submit three (3) issues of their newsletter containing at least one by-lined article on HIV/AIDS/Co infection by the applicant. All credentials will be verified by the Organizing Committee of the Workshop.

Media participants cannot register on line, but are requested to send the above mentioned information to info@virology-education.com.

Scholarships
A limited number of scholarships to attend the HIV and Hepatitis Co-infection Workshop will be awarded to researchers working in the area of HIV resistance who, without financial support, would be unable to participate in the conference. Scholarships may be full (including registration, travel, accommodation), partial (including registration and/or accommodation or travel) or for registration only.

Applicants must be actively working in the field of HIV and Hepatitis Coinfection. Priority will be given to applicants whose attendance of the meeting will have a positive impact in their country of origin, e.g. by improvement of diagnostic techniques. Applicants must have good understanding of English language.
Applications from Europe (WHO Euro Region) and from resource-limited countries will be considered with priority. Applicants from pharmaceutical companies are not eligible.

Sponsored attendance
If you are invited by a pharmaceutical or diagnostic company or if your registration is organised by a travel agency please do not register on line or by fax. The sponsoring company will be asked to register you via the Conference Secretariat.
