Fee and Conditions

Prices in Euro
No day rate is available.

Accommodation during the workshop can be extended with one night on 10 April.
Accommodation rate includes all taxes and breakfast

The registration fee for delegates includes:
o        Entrance into all scientific sessions, including poster area
o        Delegate bag, including abstract book and final program
o        Refreshment breaks on Thursday
o        Lunch on Thursday
o        Joint session with HIV PK workshop on Wednesday afternoon (for 
          logistical reasons this item needs to be registered separately in the
          online registration)
o        Welcome dinner on Wednesday (provided pre-registration and
          payment  of the nominal contribution of 35 Euros has been received)
o        Accommodation (if applicable) including all taxes and breakfast (run of
          the house rooms, single occupancy).

Additional nights
Participants to the conference who would like to extend their stay in the Omni Royal Orleans Hotel prior  the conference are requested to contact the conference secretariat at info@virology-education.com. There are no rooms available after the conference.

Important
o         We would like to strongly suggest that you register early to ensure
           your confirmation, as registration will close when the capacity of the
           venue is reached. Priority will be given to persons submitting an
           abstract.
o         Please remember that registrations and hotel reservations are valid
           and will be confirmed only after full payment of the registration fee
           has been received.
o         Registration will be limited to researchers, clinicians and others actively
           participating as investigators in the field of Clinical Pharmacology of
           Hepatitis Therapy, with preference accorded to doctoral and
           professional degree level researchers and clinicians.
o         In view of the applicable registration fees, abstract submitters are
           advised to register for the workshop as early as possible. Should an
           abstract not be accepted, the submitter is entitled to cancel his/her
           registration. The registration fee will be reimbursed by bank transfer
           with the deduction of the transfer cost (approx 25 Euro).

Payment
Individual registrations
Registration fee can be paid by way of credit card either through an online-secured internet connection or through authorization by fax.
After registration on line you will receive a confirmation of receipt of registration. Registrations are valid only after receipt of payment. Registrations that have not been paid within two weeks after registration will be cancelled without further notice.
 
PLEASE NOTE: Submission of your registration form online or by fax is no guarantee that your registration has been accepted.

Group registrations
In order to register groups, please contact the Conference Secretariat by email: info@virology-education.com or phone: +31 30 230 7140 and we will help you through the process. Groups can not be registered on line.
Group registrations can be paid either by credit card or by bank transfer before the deadline of the registration period. Proof of bank transfer needs to be faxed to +31-30-2307148 before or on the deadline of the registration period.
Payment by bank transfer should be made free of charge.
Payment as from 25 March  is only possible with VISA, Master card or AMEX card

Cancellation
Should you be unable to attend the conference, a substitute delegate is always welcome at no extra charge provided that a letter of authorisation from the original participant has been received and the Conference Secretariat has been notified of the name of the substitute delegate before March 25th. A confirmation (email/letter/fax) of your cancellation needs to be sent to Virology Education.

In case of cancellation the following refunds are applicable:
Cancellation before February 19, 2008: 50% refund on registration and hotel package
Cancellation after February  19, 2008: no refund
Cancellation / Administration fee: 25 Euro

Media registration
In order to register as a media participant for the Workshop, the conference secretariat needs to receive proof of accreditation. There is no registration fee for accredited media participants. Media participants are entitled to admission to all sessions of the Workshop as well as the Welcome reception and dinner (provided a reservation has been made). An abstract book will be provided on site. Deadline for application is March 15

Accreditation may take the form of a photocopy of official press credentials or a letter verifying assignment to the Workshop on the stationery of the media organization concerned. Freelance journalists should submit copies of three (3) by-lined articles on Hepatitis in addition to an official letter of assignment. Newsletter writers and editors must submit three (3) issues of their newsletter containing at least one by-lined article on Hepatitis by the applicant. All credentials will be verified by the Organizing Committee of the Workshop.
NB: media registration can only represent the written press. Audio and/or video recording is not allowed.
Media participant should provide their report free of charge to the conference secretariat
Media participants cannot register on line, but are requested to send the above mentioned information to info@virology-education.com.

Sponsored attendance
If you are invited by a pharmaceutical or diagnostic company or if your registration is being  organized by a travel agency please do not register on line or by fax. The sponsoring company will be asked to register you via the Conference Secretariat.

Scholarships
A limited number of scholarships will be available for students, activists and people in training. In order to apply for a scholarship, please send a letter of application with the official letterhead of your institute explaining your qualifications for a scholarship (including 3 references of articles that you have contributed to as (co-)author. Candidates who submit an abstract will be treated with priority. Deadline for application is February 14.
