Abstract submission
Abstracts may be submitted until 31 March 2010. Please go to the Abstract Submission page for information about abstract submission.
 
Accommodation

Accommodation is not included in the registration. However, accommodation at special conference rates can be booked in the Hilton Tel Aviv Hotel through the registration page on this website.

Badges
All participants (and accompanying persons during the social events) are kindly requested to wear the badge at all times during the conference.

The official currency of Israel is the Israeli new shekel (NIS)

Certificate of Attendance

A certificate of attendance can be picked up at the conference secretariat on Wednesday 2 June.
 
Climate

At the end of May – beginning of June the daytime temperature is around  25°C / 75°F.
 
Conference Language

The official conference language will be English.
Simultaneous translation will not be provided.

Electrical power

Israel uses 230 V / 50 Hz electric power with European-style two-pin plugs. Visitors using other types of plugs must bring an adaptor and/or a voltage converter.

Invitation letters

Official letters of invitation, designed to help overcome administrative difficulties in certain countries will be sent on request. They will be extended only to researchers and clinicians actively participating as investigators in the field of HIV and Hepatitis, with preference accorded to doctoral and professional degree level researchers and clinicians. The letters do not represent a commitment on the part of the organisation to provide any financial assistance. Delegates who wish to apply for an invitation letter should indicate so in the Remarks-section of the registration form. Letters of invitation can only be sent after payment has been received and confirmed by the credit card company.
 
Liability and Insurance

By registering for the conference, participants agree that the organisers do not accept responsibility for medical-, travel- or personal insurance. Participants are advised to take out their own insurance policies.

Meeting Venue     
The meeting will be held in the Hilton Tel Aviv Hotel. Perched on a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, the Hilton Tel Aviv hotel is 1 minute from the beach and close to the city centre.

Payment of on-line registration     
The registration fee of individual participants can be paid only via credit card. Your registration will be processed and confirmed after receipt of payment. Payment can be processed either on line or by fax authorisation. The registration fee is valid on the day of receipt of credit card details. If your payment or credit card information has not been received within 2 weeks of the on line registration your registration will be cancelled without further notice.
 
Photographs, audio and video recording
We do not permit recordings of official meeting sessions either via photograph or other audio/video recording devices. Only the official medical writer appointed by the organisation may make recordings.
All presentations will be posted on our website www.HIVpresentation.com as soon as possible after the conference, provided the speaker has given permission to do so.
 
Program schedule

The conference will start on Monday 31 May 2010 and will finish on Wednesday 2 June 2010.
 
Registration fee, criteria and cancellation conditions
Registration for the conference will be possible from 1 February until 14 May 2010. Individuals hoping to register after that date will only be able to do so on site (31 May, 1 and 2 June). For further information, fees and online registration please go to the registration page of this workshop.

Scholarships

A limited number of free slots will be awarded to (young) researchers and clinicians working in the field who, without financial support, would be unable to participate in the conference. More information can be found on the registration page

Tuesday 1 June - conference dinner at the Le Relais Jaffa restaurant, price € 35 per person.

Wednesday 2 June - tour to Jerusalem, price € 35 (to register, please send an e-mail to goda.adomonis@vironet.com).

Transport from/to Ben Gurion Airport

Private transfers:
we have arranged a discounted rate of € 35 (one way) provided you made a timely reservationat li-li-ya@zahav.net.il. Please mention your name, flight number, time of arrival and the following conference code: 6th Co-infection. We advise you to arrange your transfer back to the airport at the same time as well.

The driver will meet you in the arrival hall and will take you directly to your accommodation in Tel Aviv. Valid means of payment are cash & bank transfer.

Rail: A train service (tel: +372 (0) 3 611 7000; www.israrail.org.il) links the airport's Terminal 3 and Tel Aviv, operating from 0300 to midnight (journey time - 15 minutes). 

Bus: Bus 475 to Tel Aviv goes to the central bus station. Bus 222 goes to North Tel Aviv railway station before stopping at all hotels along Hayarkon Street. Bus stops are located outside Terminal 1, opposite entrance gate 7. In Terminal 3, buses and taxis are located at level 2, gates 21, 23 and 24.

Taxi: Taxis are located near the airport reception hall. Hadar Lod Taxis (tel: +372(0) 971 1103) operates to all destinations.
