Accommodation
Accommodation is not included in the registration fee. However, accommodation at the conference venue Hote Fairmont Washington DC at special conference rates can be booked through the registration page on this website.
Please note that participants are liable for any damage to the hotel or the conference venue for which they are personally responsible.

Badges
All participants are requested to wear the badge at all times during the conference to ensure admission to the meeting.
Bank and Currency
The official currency of the USA is the US Dollar. ATMs are widely available. Credit cards are generally accepted.
Certificate of Attendance
A certificate of attendance can be requested and picked up at the registration desk on 11 January.
Climate
Average highs tend to be in the 40s and lows in the 20s from mid December to mid February (4-16º C)

Conference Language
The official conference language will be English.

Electrical power
Washington, like the rest of the continental US, uses 110 V/60 cycle electric power with two flat-blade plugs. More modern receptacles have an additional round grounding pin and remain compatible with the two flat-blade plugs. Visitors using foreign appliances with incompatible plugs or electrical needs must bring an adaptor and/or a voltage converter.

Invitation letters
Official letters of invitation, designed to help overcome administrative difficulties in certain countries will be sent on request. They will be extended only to researchers and clinicians actively participating as investigators in the field of HIV Treatment, with preference accorded to doctoral and professional degree level researchers and clinicians. The letters will be sent only after full payment of the conference fee. The letters do not represent a commitment on the part of the organization to provide any financial assistance. Delegates who wish to apply for an invitation letter should contact the conference secretariat.
Liability and Insurance
By registering for the conference participants agree that the organizers do not accept responsibility for medical-, travel- or personal insurance. Participants are advised to take out their own insurance policies.

Payment and procedure of on-line registration
Your registration will be processed after receipt of payment. Payment can be processed either on line or by fax authorization. The registration fee valid on the day of receipt of registration will be applied, provided that payment is processed immediately. If your payment has not been received within 2 weeks after the on line registration your registration will be cancelled without further notice.
Photographs, audio and video recording
Photographs as well as audio and video recordings are not permitted at the official meeting sessions. Only the official medical writer appointed by the organization may make recordings. All presentations that we were granted permission for will be posted on the workshop website as soon as possible after the meeting is finished, provided the speaker has given permission to do so.
Registration fee, criteria and cancellation conditions
Registration for the conference will be possible from 1 September until 31 December. Individuals wanting to register after 31 December will only be able to do so on-site (10 January) at the on-site registration fee.
