Accommodation
Accommodation is not included in the registration. However, accommodation at special conference rates can be booked in the Coral Beach Hotel & Resort (workshop venue) through the registration page on this website.
Badges
All participants are kindly requested to wear the badge at all times during the conference.

The official currency of Cyprus is the Euro (EUR)

Conference Language
The official conference language will be English.
Simultaneous translation will not be provided.

Electrical power
Cyprus uses 240V / 50 Hz electric power with British-style three-pin plugs. Visitors using other types of plugs must bring an adaptor and/or a voltage converter.

Invitation letters
Official letters of invitation, designed to help overcome administrative difficulties in certain countries, can be sent on request. They will be extended only to researchers and clinicians actively participating as investigators in the field of viral diseases, with preference accorded to doctoral and professional degree level researchers and clinicians. The letters do not represent a commitment on the part of the organisation to provide any financial assistance. Delegates who wish to apply for an invitation letter should indicate so in the Remarks-section of the registration form. Letters of invitation can only be sent after payment has been received and confirmed by the credit card company.
Liability and Insurance
By registering for the conference, participants agree that the organisers do not accept responsibility for medical-, travel- or personal insurance. Participants are advised to take out their own insurance policies.

The Coral Beach Hotel & Resort in Paphos, Cyprus, is situated on 500 metres of natural sandy beach with its own private harbour and boat. The hotel is located on the edge of the Akamas peninsula, an area protected by UNESCO.

Payment of on-line registration
The registration fee of individual participants can be paid only via credit card. Your registration will be processed and confirmed after receipt of payment. Payment can be processed either on line or by fax authorisation. The registration fee is valid on the day of receipt of credit card details. If your payment or credit card information has not been received within 2 weeks of the on line registration your registration will be cancelled without further notice.
Photographs, audio and video recording
We do not permit recordings of official meeting sessions either via photograph or other audio/video recording devices. Only the official medical writer appointed by the organisation may make recordings.
All presentations will be posted on our website www.HIVpresentation.com as soon as possible after the conference, provided the speaker has given permission to do so.
Program schedule
The conference will start on Wednesday 23 March 2011 in the afternoon and will finish on Friday evening 25 March 2011.
Registration fee, criteria and cancellation conditions
Registration for the conference will be possible from 1 December 2010 until 10 March 2011. Individuals hoping to register after that date will only be able to do so on site (23, 24 and 25 March). Scholarships
A limited number of scholarships will be awarded to (young) researchers and clinicians working in the field who, without financial support, would be unable to participate in the conference. More information can be found on the registration page.

Transport
The Coral Beach Hotel and Resort is located in the district of Paphos, western Cyprus. It is 24 km from Paphos International Airport (PFO) and 135 km from Larnaca International Airport (LCA).
For your convenience, a free of charge shuttle service will be provided from Larnaca Airport.
On Tuesday 22 March, the shuttle buses will depart from Larnaca airport for the Coral Beach hotel every hour starting from 15.15, and will be running until 20.30. Please note that it is not possible to make a reservation for the transfers from the airport the hotel. The service will be provided on 'first come, first served' basis.
On Friday 25 March, the shuttle buses will depart from the hotel for the Larnaca airport at 12.00, 13.00 (directly after the closure of the workshop) and 14.00. If you would like to make use of the shuttle bus to the airport, we kindly request you to contact the registration desk onsite (on 23 and 24 March).
Should you prefer a private transfer, you can make a reservation at info@grabthatcab.com at a discounted rate of EUR 100 from Larnaca Airport and EUR 36 from Paphos Airport (4-seater vehicle, one way).
