Myer, Landon 2016_120Landon Myer is Professor and Head of the Division of Epidemiology & Biostatistics in the School of Public Health & Family Medicine at the University of Cape Town, where he also directs of the Centre for Infectious Diseases Epidemiology & Research. He has a background in social anthropology, clinical medicine and epidemiology. His research focuses on women's, maternal and child health in the context of HIV/AIDS, and includes clinical, behavioural and health systems studies, with a particular interest in the health of HIV-infected women receiving ART during pregnancy and postpartum, as well as the health and development of their children.
