MEDICAL MANAGER (1 FTE)

With a growing number of projects and colleagues, we are looking for a Medical Manager to join our organization. The Medical Manager is responsible for optimizing learning outcomes by developing state of the art scientific and medical programs.

Your responsibilities

  • Developing and executing needs assessments
  • Content development, compiling conference/course programs and commissioning faculty
  • Medical writing including program descriptions, meeting & learning objectives, meeting reports, summaries etc
  • Editorial management of program content for promotional purposes
  • Development of educational materials
  • Screen & search for scientific content and educational needs to identify new opportunities
  • Establish and maintain good working relations with all stakeholders and ensure that everyone is kept fully informed throughout the projects
  • Actively explore how to improve processes and programs to generate increased attendance
  • Collaborate with the Scientific Director on optimal execution of all content-related aspects
  • Identify and implement improvements for internal processes
  • Guarantee independent and objective program content
  • Fully manage, understand and adhere to accreditation policies and guidelines and ensure knowledge is applied to projects during planning, execution and communication

We are looking for a colleague with the following qualities:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Scientific Doctor (PhD) (preferably in Infectious Diseases or related areas)
  • Several years’ experience in medical education is highly recommended
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent command of English
  • Must be a true people manager
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and activities to deliver within agreed deadlines
  • Pro-active attitude (no 9 to 5 mentality) with a hands-on approach
  • High level of personal accountability
  • Excellent IT skills
  • A positive, friendly personality with a good sense of humor
  • Must be a Dutch resident

Experience:

  • medical education: 2 years (Preferred)

PROJECT COORDINATOR (FULL- OR PART-TIME)

Your main tasks & responsibilities will be:

  • Venue, F&B and AV arrangements
  • Participant management, incl. handling registrations, invoicing and general correspondence
  • Travel and accommodation arrangements for faculty, staff and grantees
  • Administrative handling of project arrangements
  • Website management
  • Design and development of conference and promotional materials
  • Support with fundraising activities, publicity and evaluation
  • Onsite project management

Knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Master’s degree, academic thinking and working level
  • Excellent organisational skills; experience in conference management, preferably in medical education is highly recommended
  • Business acumen and commercially aware
  • Near native command of English (both verbal and in writing)
  • Excellent command of French or Portuguese is a great plus
  • Excellent communicator and strong in stakeholder management
  • Flexibility: being able to switch between helicopter view and critical details
  • Quantitative skills, capable of working with financial data
  • Solid IT skills including Microsoft Office; WordPress and Adobe Indesign are a plus
  • Willingness to perform various common tasks
  • Professional appearance and outstanding work ethic
