Coordinating the scientific and editorial committee as editor in chef for the journal: The Lancet Infectious Diseases – Romanian language edition for 2 years, member in the editorial committee of the Romanian language edition of “Clinical Infectious Diseases Journal” – Oxford University Journals, December 2010-2011, Member in the editorial committee of the journal Therapeutics Pharmacology and Clinical Toxicology, since 2006, www.terapeutica.ro, member in the editorial committee of the journal GERMS – since 2011 www.germs.ro, co editor in chef for JCCP (www. jccp.ro ) since 2015.

In 2010 she finisher her PhD theses in the Infectious Diseases Department Carol Davila Medicine and Pharmacy University : thesis title: Therapeutic Management of Severe Acute HBV Infection

In 2015 completes the post doctoral research in HIV field: National screening for osteo renal impairment in HIV Romanian cohort.

In 2009 obtained Diplôme Universitaire –DU- Université Pierre et Marie CURIE - Sciences et Médecine - UPMC - Paris www.upmc.fr

Dr Anca Streinu-Cercel, has experience in academic teaching within the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, through interaction with patients as resident, specialist, senior specialist infectious diseases physician, through working in the hospital, with inpatients, outpatients, and working on international clinical trials and international grants in the field of infectious diseases, HIV/comorbidities, hepatitis and many others.

Actually she is coordinating the department of clinical trials associated to A2 department at the National Institute of Infectious Diseases “Prof.Dr.Matei Balș”, coordinating the diploma/license theses of medical students, study coordinator for certain international medical projects and she developed managerial skills acquired through organizing scientific symposiums, scientific sessions, national congresses with international participation. Also regarding project management – attending theoretical courses on Project management and on Clinical trials management, and putting the information into practice through coordinating medical projects: over 8 international project founded by competition grants and more then 15 national projects, as member in the management team, or project director. The most important project   as project director was the grant The Romanian Biomolecular Research Centre for Infectious Diseases Co-financed by The European Regional Development Fund cod ID/SMIS: 1871/49153CCRBI:Establishing and developing a Biomolecular Research Center for Infectious Diseases as well as a Telemedicine Department that side with the European Research-Development requirements, with positive implications on national and European research, targeting ID such as EBOLA and other hemorrhagic fevers, but not limited to them.
