Practical info

We trust that the following information (in alphabetical order) will assist you in organizing your registration and stay in Barcelona.

Abstract submission
Abstract submission is possible until 1 July 2016.

Accommodation is possible in the meeting venue, the Crowne Plaza Barcelona (for the address, please see further under "Meeting venue" header on HOME page), but is not included in the registration fee. Please be advised that guest room reservations are upon room block availability.

All participants are requested to wear the badge at all times during the conference to ensure admission to the meeting.

Certificate of Attendance
A certificate of attendance will be sent to you after the meeting.

September is a very pleasant month to visit the city. In September the average temperature is around 25 °C (77 °F) during the day and 15 °C (59 °F) at night.

Conference Materials
Conference materials can be obtained upon registration at the registration desk at the conference venue.

Conference Language
The official conference language will be English.

Electrical Power
Electricity supply is 220 volts throughout Spain with 2 pin wall sockets. Visitors using foreign appliances with incompatible plugs or electrical needs must bring an adaptor and/or a voltage converter.

Internet Access 
Complimentary internet access is available in the guestrooms and meeting room.

Invitation Letters
An official letter of invitation, designed to help overcome administrative difficulties in certain countries can be downladed . This letter does not represent a commitment on the part of the organization to provide any financial assistance. The organizing secretariat is unable to provide more extensive invitation letters.

Payment and Procedure of Online Registration
Your registration will be processed after receipt of payment. Payment can be processed either online or by fax authorization. The registration fee, valid on the day of receipt of registration, will be applied, provided that payment is processed immediately. If your payment has not been received within 2 weeks after the on-line registration your registration will be cancelled without further notice.

Photographs, Audio and Video Recording
Photographs as well as audio and video recordings are not permitted at the official meeting sessions. Only the official medical writer, appointed by the organization, may make recordings. All presentations that we were granted permission for, will be posted on the workshop website (under Workshop Materials) as soon as possible after the workshop is finished, provided the speaker has given permission to do so.
