Dr. Hang Vithurneat has been working as a clinician with Medecins Sans Frontieres (Operational Centre Paris) in the HCV project in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, since May, 2016 the beginning of the project.
The project is aiming to provide HCV treatment to HCV mono and co-infected patients among general and key population, research and implementation on simplification of HCV model of care in resource limited setting. By the end of 2017, MSF has placed more than 3200 patients on treatment. In 2018, MSF is aiming at treating more patients with simplified model of care and setting up a care model in rural setting.
Dr. Neat graduated from faculty of medicine of International University, Cambodia in 2015.
