Hsi-Hsun Lin is the Director of the Department of Internal Medicine at E-Da Hospital in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. He is also a Professor at I-Shou University in Kaohsiung. He is currently the President of Taiwan AIDS Society. Professor Lin completed his medical degree at the National Defense Medical Center and obtained his Ph.D. degree at the National Yang-Ming University in Taipei, Taiwan. He completed a series of subspecialist training of infectious diseases at Taipei and Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital in Taiwan. He undertook a research fellowship at the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center, Rockefeller University, New York, USA. His research interests include HIV/AIDS, clinical microbiology, and molecular epidemiology, specifically HIV and hepatitis co-infection. He has published over 150 articles in a variety of journals.
