Vadim Rassokhin, MD is a leading researcher at the Institute of Experimental Medicine of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Deputy Head for Outpatient Care for patients with HIV and viral hepatitis at the St. Petersburg AIDS Center. Since 2010 he has led multiple clinical and research programs in HIV medicine, focusing on the issues of physical and secondary diseases, cognitive disorders, viral hepatitis/HIV coinfection, and examination of HIV-infected patients’ health status.
Dr. Rassokhin’s scope of research interests includes infectious diseases, autoimmune diseases and cancer.
He presents at Russian and international conferences and participates in national councils of experts on various antiretroviral drugs and treatment programs for HIV and viral hepatitis in adults, adolescents and children.
He has published over 120 articles and book chapters.
Dr. Rassokhin is also the Executive Secretary of the Russian scientific journal "HIV Infection and Immunosuppressive Disorders" and editor of the journal supplements "Sputnik of Specialist - HIV/AIDS” and the "Medical Thematic Archive."
