Dr. Hui graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of University of Hong Kong in 1993. He received his training in Gastroenterology in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Hong Kong. In 2002, he had further training in advanced therapeutic endoscopy in the University College London, UK. He is currently the Associate Consultant in Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Hong Kong and the Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine of University of Hong Kong. His specialty interest include advanced therapeutic ERCP, EUS, balloon-assisted enteroscopy, IBD, viral hepatitis and HIV medicine. He also served as the Vice President of the Hong Kong IBD Society and Honorary Secretary of the Hong Kong Association for the Study of Liver Diseases. In 2015, Dr. Hui has also received the Outstanding Staff Award of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and the Merit Staff Award from Hospital Authority, Hong Kong for his commendable achievement and performance.
