Professor Ying Han graduated and obtained her M.D. from Hebei Medical University China in 1986, and obtained her Ph.D. from the Fourth Military Medical University in 2001. She is currently a professor and a chief Physician at Xijing Hospital of Digestive Diseases, Fourth Military Medical University, China.

Professor Han is also the president-elect of Chinese Society of Internal Medicine, the vice chairwoman of Chinese Society of Stem Cell and Engineering, a standing committee member of Chinese Society of Hepatology, a committee member of the Third Class Medical Technology Evaluation of China and a committee member of Chinese Drug Clinical Evaluation. She is also a Changjiang Scholar professor of the Fourth Military Medical University. She has won the Chinese Clinical Doctor Award and Chinese woman pacesetter. She was awarded the first prize of iatric achievement by the General Logistics Department and the first prize of Science and Technology by Shaanxi Province Government, China.
